I photographed the Sutherlands when my wife was entering her third thrimester and I remember thinking as I looked through the camera, "I can't wait for my babygirl to be here so I can play with her in the ocean." One of the most beautiful presents my earthly father gave me was my love for the ocean. From an early age I was sitting on a windsurf board and playing in the enchanting waters of the Caribbean. Now, as a father, I want to offer the same gift to my daughter Anaia Grace. This photos are have so much emotion in them and they express that incredible selsfless love parents have for their babies.
